Default Deal Alert - Garmin GPSMAP 64st

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Garmi...st/1813418.uts

On sale for $230. I've seen the 64s model on sale for $200 at times, but I've never seen the 64st this low. Built-in topo maps.

You'll still want to download the free topo maps available at gpsfiledepot.com, as they are superior to the preloaded topo maps, but still this unit has a much better basemap than the 64s model due to having the preloaded topos.

Got my GPSMAP 64 ST in this morning. I know little about computers and don't think this is working well with Windows 10. Something I am probably not doing right. Other than that, I think I am going to like it a lot better than the Etrex 10 I have been using for years. These went on sale last year for $229 and I had the money and was saving to buy one but a friend needed the money more than I did. When they went on sale this year, I bought one. Can't wait to use it in the field.

If you hunt public land like me it will change the way you hunt for sure.

I got it to work on my laptop and now it's just a matter of playing with it till I learn some ins and outs of this thing. I can already tell it is going to be huge asset.

More than likely. I stay close to home if I can.

I do too. Too broke to belong to a club and apparently not friendly enough to be invited anywhere! LOL! I love public land though, been hunting it a long time.
