The above link might prove interesting to both those of you too young to remember the glory days of the Broadwater Beach Resort and a trip down memory lane for those that knew of it while it was a prominent place on the gulf coast.
If your going to go fishing there the southeast corner is the place to be...not sure about this time of year but in spring and summer thats one of the go to spots for us who fish from the banks and piers.
Broad Water I see people fishing there a lot but a word of WARNING inside the marina has never been dredged since Katrina and it was a marina for many, many years so the bottom soil is polluted with bottom paint which is toxic. I would not eat any fish caught inside the walls. Plus any fish that live in there for a long time probably taste like diesel or worse. Outside maybe depending on the species.
