Default Would have been a bust!

Did some hard fishing today with JohnnyU... Would have been a bust but when we were changing spots we looked out and saw something busting up the water! Looked like a washing machine churning.

We went over and had about 15 mins of action! Our little trout rigs weren't holding up, we had about five hooks ups where we were getting spooled, breaking lines. My youngest son,Walker, fought one for a while and broke off at the boat but we never saw it. We weren't sure what we were in.

Greyson finally hooked up and the fight was on! Finally got him to the boat and saw a big flash of red... At one time he only had about 20 yards of line left on the reel...Biggest red fish he's ever caught! That was the biggest school of big reds I've ever been in!

Amazing how 15 minutes can change a whole day's fishing.
Great work getting that one to the boat.
It's almost as long as he is tall.

Thanks for turning it the correct way SJ.... For some reason when I post, it turns the pictures sideways and I can't correct it. Guess I need to figure out how to resize them!

Nice bull red , before long your going to have a good fisherman on your hands . My son has already started to tell me how to fish and my wife too ,lol . I took her on her first trout trip to chandy on the Due South and don't you know she caught the biggest trout of the three day trip , a good 25" trout .
