Looking for a Trophy managed club/lease for next (2012/2013) hunting season. Will travel up to 4hrs from Baton Rouge. Looking for a place that protects young bucks and allows them to mature, yet is aggressive on doe harvests. A true trophy managed club/lease. I am looking for one spot for myself, possibly up to 5 spots for the right place if available. Or an entire lease. I would prefer to stay out of big club politics. Willing to pay good money for a great place. Will pay a deposit this hunting season to secure a spot for next year. I'm a 27yr old non smoker, drinker, etc. Just looking for a great long-term club. Please email or call me. 225-715-7879 cell Jay. JayLeto@hotmail.com

I'm currently paying 4k to hunt 25 guys on 12k acres of land in Meridian, Ms with a lodge included. So I don't mind paying good money for the right place.

If so, that might explain the lack of responses

No relation that I know of. The only Leto's I know are my immediate family.

Still looking for a great long term club or lease. Here's a picture of a a big 8pt I killed with my bow this year. He's the biggest deer I've killed with my bow so far.

Jay

Jay, a little word to the wise. Alot of clubs, believe it or not, don't like good hunters or hunters that are hunting all the time, especially good ones.
If it were me looking for a club, I would take the hohum demeanor. I would say something like "I barely hunt but I have money and I'm very curteous of other hunters. I have only been hunting for about 8-10 years or so and just like to get away every now and again."
But that's just me.

plus he's looking at the wrong time of the year. Start looking mid summer and you will find something. With the economy in it's current state, there are alot of clubs looking to fill their memberships. I know of a trophy managed bow club around Raymond that is always looking for a few good suckers, I mean members

Jay, Hunter brings up a good point and the club in Raymond. They are always looking for members and they are on an extensive management program. And that area is notoriously known for its non-typical traits.

It's non-typical alright. Better have a lawyer go along for the ride when you, if you sign up there.
