man it can be as little as 8" in spots. I've put in and could go any direction as fast as I wanted and put in and limited myself to idle speeds to keep from tearing anything up. I tried alligator hunting north, couldnt get past the rocks about a mile up river from the ramp. Boat was dragging the bottom of the rocks.

IF the water is low, go slow and be careful. Your pretty good in the straight stretch right almost a mile in both directions of the boat launch, its 3-4 feet in most places. But it gets shallow on either end.

IF it werent for trees and stuff being in the bends of the river where its deep you could easily run it at speed when the water is low, except for the spot @ copiah creek where I have seen it ankle deep.
