Default Who is ready for our opener down south Saturday

Anybody gonna be dumb enough to go up a tree Saturday morning for our opener down south? I'm thinking about going only cause we have a little water and it might make a good one get on his feet early. Other than that I don't have any big game plan just going in blind to a place I've hunted my whole life I'm sure not much has changed.

I had planned on hunting Saturday. That was before Nate and it looked like lo temps were gonna be in the 50's. Looks like lows now are gonna be in 70's and I can't get motivated. Maybe next Mon/Tues if the temps drop.

I'm going, not very sure of my game plan but I'll be there. Had a very nice oak ridge picked out but Nate came through and now there's acorns everywhere.

Not I. I "might" take the .22 Saturday morning and scout a little and pop a few tree rats but that's about it. Haven't set foot in the woods this year so not prepared would be an understatement. Good luck to the ones who are hunting!

My 17 yr old will be up a tree. Still trying to get his first one. He's only shot 5 and found zero. I have a couple of oat plots that have had deer in them every evening before dark. Hopefully he will get it done this year.
