Thanks for the cut away view. I have lost a few deer by shooting high and hitting in what I call the "void". To high to hit the spine or main artery. Very little blood. Couple years ago I stuck a 8pt high in the back. No blood trail or arrow. Nine days later he was killed by a muzzleloader hunter chasing a doe about a mile from where i stuck him with my broadhead still in him.
