Default Homemade xbows target

I bought a block but it only lasted 2 seasons. Take a nylon feed bag, stuff with old clothes , tie the top up and hang a few inches off the ground where the bolt can transfer its momentum to the bag. I have shot the same bag 3 years and just recently took it and dropped it inside a new bag and I'm good to go. I have a ghost 410 and the target will hold the arrow from point blank.

That is good info. I remember when those were the only type targets we had to shoot. Don't know why we "assumed, yea that word" that this set up wouldn't hold up to today's bows and crossbows.
