Default Fathers day fishing

I went fishing with my Dad before church this morning and we put it on the bass. Better than that, he told me these past few weeks were better than he has had in a long time. I bought a new boat and he has to crawl to get in it. The good news is he gets in it, he couldn't in my other boat. He sits around a lot since Mom died and he is finally getting to get out and do what he enjoys. I have enjoyed watching him get excited over things I take for granted. I hope when I'm his age I have someone who will let me crawl to the back deck and get excited. I didn't get any pics of the fish but he insisted on fileting so my wife can fry them up. God is good. Sorry it's long but I love my Dad. Happy Fathers day.

It's great you get to take him and he enjoys it.

I didn't know how much he missed fishing and being on the water. I guess I didn't pay enough attention to how much he missed being outdoors. I am trying to keep him out there as much as I can.
