A lot of the pressure increase is troubling, but, in this era of modern communication, this will likely be the new normal. Next year should be better without Covid, but quality weekend hunts on public areas may in the past for awhile. Although, I do know human nature, and a lot of the new hunters will fold as time goes on. Especially if they are unsuccessful. It is good to introduce new hunters, but I try to limit it to immediate family. My 2 cents.

Screenshot of a video from this season from a popular YouTuber. Gotta give it to 'em, they got a bigger pair than I do!

Fellow who was reaping on public land this spring. Trying to find out what state it happened in. Will make a thread on it when I do.

I have watched a few of these videos to see what is going on. My question is what is the purpose of doing these videos and what is the goal of those doing them?

The videos are for entertainment and for learning if one sees fit. Google also pays Youtubers for ads shown before and during their videos.

I walked several miles yesterday on some public land and I came to the conclusion that you can pretty much kill off everything there with hunting pressure except wild hogs. Saw lots of rooting. The Chernoble disaster couldn't do what overhunting public land has done. If you don't believe that, watch the documentary on Chernoble. Fun having lots of land to explore though and seeing all the different boot tracks left by the different brands of boots. 🤣
