I saw three hens and nine poults while bush hogging this week. Glad to see.

A friend of mine bush hogged a nest yesterday in Pearl River County. The hen came off the nest at the last second. 9 eggs. Makes you wonder how many times the poor girl has renested.

I've seen 3 big groups of poults so far. Appears to have been a decent hatch around my place!

Saw three hens and not sure how many poults a couple days ago. Grass was kinda tall. Hated spooking the hens a little but that armadillo had to go.

Seen a couple of good size broods this year and one hen I seen only one poult with, but the rest may have made it out of the roadway into the woods. I have had some people tell me about other broods they have seen this year too.
