Default Wyoming elk general unit

We went to Wyoming again this year and my buddy Zach had a bull elk tag. The last two years we were successful in filling all our tags. Cow elk, pronghorn, and mule deer. This year turned out to be a whole different story. Zach drew a general unit tag with two points. As for as I know a Wyoming resident may hunt a general tag unit by just purchasing a tag over the counter. We had over 20 other camps within a mile of ours and was greeted by 10 other hunters opening morning on the hill we chose to hunt. A lot of lessons was learned on this trip. We will try and prepare better in the coming years. After seeing the competition in a general unit I believe I will save my points until I have enough for a limited draw.

Nice video thanks for sharing. Plan on going to Wyoming in a couple of years myself. Saving points.
