rt8 I don't think the STM plot model is very compatible with an established cover plot, unless you're willing to sacrifice the clover.

Question on spraying with the throw and mow method

In the last couple of years I have incorporated clover into my STM mix. I have read several post saying to spray the clover with clethodim in the spring to control grasses. By doing this, won’t I be essentially eliminating the much needed thatch for the STM method to be successful??
Should I just continue to “clip” these patches once or twice a year??
